School of International Studies
Every year in June, IBDA invites schoolchildren who are not indifferent to international issues and global problems to study. The children are asked to solve a case specially prepared by World Bank experts. The case is based on real practice and touches upon one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in a specific region or country.
Career Consultation
Twice a year, at the RANEPA Open Day, the Faculty holds a master class on choosing a career in international relations. The first to register for the event will have the opportunity to undergo career consultation with our licensed specialist.
Introduction to the specialty
Student training begins with a specially designed course on career guidance, which explains what competencies and skills a student can develop during their studies, what to do for this, and how to subsequently make a selling resume.
Mandatory language practice
After the second year of study, all students undergo language practice, which involves applying the knowledge gained as a result of two years of intensive study of foreign languages.
Volunteer practice
IBDA RANEPA is the organizer of many international events, the most striking of which is the Gaidar Forum. IBD students traditionally work with foreign VIP guests of the forum and are subsequently awarded personalized certificates from the university management.
Industrial Internship
After the third year of study, the student is required to undergo industrial internship, write and then defend a report on its completion.
Career Management
In the third year, students take a mandatory course on career management, which is taught by a professional business coach. During the course, students are taught how to select internships, and also share the secrets of successfully passing an interview.
Consulting project
In the final year, students work in groups on a solution for a consulting project, the task for which is formulated by real customers expecting useful recommendations on solving current problems of their business.

Membership in the Alumni Association
Upon completion of their studies, a graduate automatically becomes a member of the IBSA RANEPA Alumni Association, which gives access to a closed mailing list with announcements of master classes by famous speakers, as well as vacancies from other members of the association.
Career Digest
Every few weeks, a “career digest” is published on the Faculty’s social networks, in which a career consultant creates a selection of potentially interesting internships and vacancies for our students and graduates.
